The decision to move Mom into a nursing home wasn’t easy and was one we had put off for while. Searching for the right nursing home was very important to us. Immediately upon touring Stevens Point Care Center, we knew we had found the right place for Mom to call “home.” Everyone we met was so helpful and treated us like instant family. We had lots of questions and the staff took the time to answer our questions and put us at ease. This September, it will be two years since we moved Mom in and we are absolutely certain we made the right decision. A big “thanks” to all those on the Stevens Point Care Center team who continue to make Mom’s stay so wonderful.

We live 200 miles from Stevens Point, so finding a nursing home for my Father that would be able to accommodate our need for updates was a leading factor in our decision making process. Not only do I get healthcare updates from the staff on a regular and on-going basis, but I also get updates and photos of my Father participating in all of the wonderful activities that are offered. We join our Mom for meals at the Stevens Point Care Center about once every week and the food is always delicious!
